Cats are very aloof creatures and will not cuddle on command. They have to want to. Our Kat prefers her mother.
That is so sweet, enjoy it while it lasts, as you know once they are motile they tend to have cuddling be a low priority! I guess I preferred my mother when I was an infant and toddler but after that I was Daddy's girl, not that I don't love my mom of course. You are excused as long as you occasionally come on and post pictures of the adorable children in your possession!
