weekend laundry

First of all, when I said I did many loads of laundry on Sunday, I realized this morning that I didn't really do all of the laundry. Three clothesbaskets are full of clean clothes and the dryer is full of dry clean clothes. I am sure this never happens at YOUR house.

NEVER. In fact, I don't think I can associate with people who do not fold their dry clean clothes.

Mike currently has two baskets full of clothes in the livingroom along with a pile of clean clothes on the floor. I'm sure if I went to the basement, I'd find more baskets full and some in the dryer.

Are you kidding me? Clothes are always put away the minute they are dry - in fact - they are usually still warm...

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

If there ISN'T laundry in the dry at any moment in time, something is dreadful wrong! =)

You mean all this time I thought the dryer was extra closet space. Have I been wrong? And those baskets, you mean they aren't suppose to sit around full(clean/dirty) all the time?

The issue we have is that the underwear gnomes sneak in at 3:00 AM and steal your underwear. Just ask Isabella.

Washed and dried clothes have one of two outcomes. If I am not in totally laziness mode or I have work I am trying to avoid that ranks higher on the work that must be avoided list they will be put away as soon as I bring them up from the basement where my washer and drier reside. Since I am usually out of something which motivated me to actually do the laundry in the first place it generally does not stay in the drier too long.

The other fate is that they will stay in the basket and the floor becomes my hamper until it either drives me crazy or there are so few clothes in the hamper even a lazy person such as myself will put them away. They will suffer this wrinkly fate if they are not put away immediately upon reentering the apartment.

I'm pretending I will be more organized about this if and when I reproduce, but have read enough blogs to know better, ha ha!
